My name is Cory Allen, and I live near Cleveland, Ohio. I’m a dad of five, husband to the most incredible human being on Planet Earth , and have built a career in digital l marketing over the last two decades since I graduated from Washington State University in the early 2000’s. I tend to work in B2B and B2G environments – not for any reason in particular, other that it just worked out that way and I really enjoy it 🙂

I’m currently working as a web strategist at a digital marketing company in Northern Minnesota. I also own a small digital agency near Cleveland.

I’m also a sucker for Land Rovers (old, new… if it has a green oval, I dig it), mountain biking, Cleveland Guardians baseball, and road-tripping as much as possible. Although we live in a neat little brick house built in the 1940’s, we spend quite a bit of time driving around and sleeping in the back of a 2015 Ford Transit named Jonas (edit Oct. 2025 – Well, we did… Jonas just passed on to another family, however, and is no longer in our possession).

I’m also a WordPress geek. I’m not going out to get a WordPress tattoo anytime soon, but between the open source nature of the project and the fact that the same code is well-suited for a tiny blog or a big ecommerce site, I’m just a continual fan. There are other neat things on the market, for sure, but I always return to WordPress when it’s time to build something cool.

This site, in fact, is built on WordPress and is really just a living, breathing playground where I mess around with things in a low-risk environment and hack on themes. Depending on what month you visit the site, the look and theme will change, probably with varying degrees of broken-ness 😉
