The good ol’ HDC fault

Gassed up and full of twine and the fam, we were headed to the Christmas tree farm about 45 minutes away from the house when – a whole 10 minutes away – Ginny (2008 L322 HSE) lurched and filled the dash with her own version of a lit-up Christmas tree.

Is it…. a tail light? A bad battery? A shot alternator or even suspension issues…? I guess only time will tell.

For the time being, however, it sits in the driveway after a slow 35 MPH drive back home. I’ll test the battery in a few days and we’ll go from there.

Until then… just loving those finicky electronics!
